Job Summary
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives to expand our customer base and maximize revenue. This role requires a proactive leader who can identify new business opportunities and drive the daily activity of a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, and experience in the linen, hospitality, or service industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve company objectives.
- Hire, lead, train, and mentor the sales team to enhance performance and productivity.
- In the field 3-4 days per week driving daily activity including cold calling, tele-prospecting and preset appointments of the sales team.
- Analyze trends and competitor activity that will help your team understand the best way to compete in the marketplace.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Assist in the negotiation of contracts, pricing, and service agreements with potential and existing customers.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote Gold Coast Linen's services.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the linen, hospitality, or service industry.
- Proven experience in sales leadership, team management, and business development.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data, forecast sales, and develop strategic plans.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
