Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who understands the construction supply industry, values customer relationships, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to meet revenue and margin goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners
- Develop sales strategies for our core product lines, which include tools, fasteners, sealants, and other construction supplies
- Collaborate with purchasing, operations, and marketing to align sales initiatives
- Analyze sales data, identify trends, and provide regular performance reports
- Participate with executive management in strategic planning related to new markets and product lines.
- Represent Sewell Hardware at industry events and customer meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Knowledge of construction supply, distribution, or hardware industries preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office; ERP experience a plus
