About the Sales Manager - Ads Sales: MarketStar is looking for a Sales Manager to support our newest client in Salt Lake City, a global media and technology brand. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the SDR team and ensuring their success. You will play a pivotal role in providing direction, support, and mentorship to team members, facilitating their professional development and growth. You will also be accountable for monitoring team performance, addressing issues or conflicts, and fostering a collaborative and cohesive working environment.
Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
What Will You Do? - Drive your team to meet and exceed sales quotas and client expectations through successful pipeline management processes.
- Coach and develop sales representatives to succeed in hitting daily, weekly, and monthly input and output targets.
- Collaborate and align with other sales managers within assigned program, sharing best practices and solving problems collectively .
- Present sales solutions and strategies to clients, highlighting our value proposition.
- Utilize data management skills to analyze sales performance and ensure data accuracy.
- Assess current team processes, procedures, and outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement, and build / execute plans to implement
- Maintain strong client relationships through proactive engagement and effective communication.
- Ensure adherence to risk management and compliance standards in all sales activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify new business opportunities and support sales efforts.
- Other appliable duties as assigned.
What Will You Need to Succeed? - Successful sales track record with a history of driving performance to exceed goals.
- Prior experience leading a team of 5+; Digital Ads, B2B, or tele-sales experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Experience building strong relationships, managing conflict, and leading by example
- Track record of coaching and developing low performers to reach target attainment
- Ability to adapt and effectively multi-task in a dynamic environment
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and drive informed decision-making.
- Excellent client engagement skills to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Effective sales skills to support business development efforts and achieve sales targets.
- Familiarity with technology and sales tools to enhance sales operations and client satisfaction; knowledge of Salesforce preferred.
