Our client is rapidly expanding and we're searching for a Sales Manager.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of five direct reports, providing guidance, support, and coaching to drive their individual and collective success.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize market share.
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key clients, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify areas for growth and develop effective sales strategies.
- Community engagement experience with proven ability to navigate and work with Chambers and other community associations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of sales initiatives.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and present findings to senior management.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends, providing insights and recommendations to enhance our sales approach.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record in sales management and/or applicable on the job experience with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing a team of up to 5 direct reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
- Deep understanding of the sales process and a strategic mindset to drive business growth in the telecom industry.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM software is a plus
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
