Sales Manager - Defense Division
Location: Pasadena, TX (Texas Gulf Coast Region)
Type: On-site
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with flexibility as needed
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 per year (Base) + Bonus Opportunities
About the Role We are seeking an accomplished and motivated Sales Manager to lead and expand sales efforts across the Texas Gulf Coast for a globally recognized defense-focused division. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for client relationship development and a strong understanding of the maritime or defense industries.
As Sales Manager, you will be entrusted with managing a wide product portfolio that includes life-saving equipment, personal protective gear (PPE), boats, davits, and related safety solutions. You'll play a key role in driving sales growth, nurturing partnerships, and promoting service excellence across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all sales activities across the Texas Gulf Coast territory.
Outside Sales
Promote and sell the full range of company products to defense sector clients, service partners, and shipyards.
Maintain strong client relationships and deliver personalized value propositions, including strategic agreements.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (Sales Director, Service Manager, and Credit & Collections).
Develop, execute, and monitor annual sales plans, revenue goals, and profitability metrics.
Participate in monthly sales meetings to track KPIs and report progress.
Provide market and CRM feedback to leadership, ensuring alignment with sales strategies.
Serve as a brand ambassador, upholding the company's integrity and customer service standards.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of successful sales experience; industry experience in maritime or defense is a strong advantage.
Proven ability to develop, manage, and grow customer relationships.
Familiarity with CRM systems and data-driven sales planning.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
High-level organizational, analytical, and time-management capabilities.
Willingness to travel within the Texas Gulf Coast region.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Valid driver's license required.
