Job Overview:

The Sales Manager is a key leader at Mattress Firm, responsible for embodying the company's vision and driving sales performance across multiple store locations. You will lead your team in executing effective customer-centered approaches and achieving performance metrics, while ensuring that every team member embodies Mattress Firm's core values.
  • Foster a high-performance culture by driving individual and team sales goals.
  • Provide comprehensive training and coaching to store associates in retail sales and operating procedures, including conducting annual performance reviews and developing Individual Development Plans.
  • Ensure exceptional customer experiences by prioritizing customer service in all store operations.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with field personnel and leadership to resolve day-to-day operational matters.
  • Play an active role in the staffing process, including interviewing and hiring personnel for your store.
  • Commit to continuous self-development through participation in training and other learning opportunities.
  • Oversee workforce management processes, ensuring appropriate staffing and compliance with scheduling practices.
  • Achieve or exceed financial targets through outstanding execution of customer service at the store level.
  • Ensure compliance with merchandising standards, marketing initiatives, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to devise and implement social media strategies geared towards enhancing brand awareness and sales growth.

Pay Range: $75,000 - $95,000
