Viridian Staffing's client, a rapidly growing cannabis company in New Jersey, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead their sales efforts and drive product growth within the state. This role will require a strong combination of sales strategy, market analysis, and team leadership.
As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a small sales team, managing key relationships with dispensary owners, and driving market penetration for your cannabis products. Your role will also include analyzing market trends, adjusting sales strategies, and working closely with the field marketing team to ensure alignment with promotional activities.
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in sales management, ideally within New Jersey's cannabis market, and a strong network of established contacts in the Northeast. You will lead a team of 2-3 sales representatives, helping them meet and exceed their sales targets, while also contributing to the overall sales strategy. Your ability to manage the sales process from product launch to delivery, as well as your ability to analyze market data and adjust strategies, will be key to success in this role.
In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you will represent the company at key industry events, working with the marketing team to create training materials for budtenders and other promotional content. You will collaborate closely with your team to manage inventory, ensure product availability, and maintain strong relationships with dispensary clients. Your previous direct reports would say you have the ability to inspire and motivate through your lead by example management style.

Compensation Range: $80,000-$150,000/year
