Ideal candidates will have a network within the golf industry and/or the retail space selling high-end golf equipment. This is a 100% remote position with travel, as needed, throughout the territory.

Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to join growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and driving sales while maintaining an exceptional level of customer service.
Is your background a match?
3-5+ years of sales experience for a golf manufacturer or the retail side looking to move to the brand side
Minimum GED but Bachelor's degree is preferred
Proficient in MS Office and retail management software
Passion for golf and/or sports is a must
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships
Strong business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Familiarity with the latest industry trends and sales best practices
Excellent cold calling skills with strong phone etiquette
Must be located or willing to relocate to the SE region (GA, FL, AL, LA, SC, MS)
What will you be doing?
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the SE region
Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
Lead, coach, and motivate a high-performing sales team to meet or exceed sales targets
Keep current with economic indicators, changing trends, supply and demand and competitors to maintain sales volume and product mix
Provide the necessary support to distributors and accounts to enable them to generate leads and close new deals
Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
Contribute as an individual contributor by aggressively pursuing sales leads by cold calling, attending events, and utilizing existing networks
Maintain high standards of customer service within the team to ensure client satisfaction and cultivate long-term relationships
