Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Sales Manager role located in Medina, OH. The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and leading the sales team, developing sales strategies, setting sales targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Sales Manager will also be involved in identifying new business opportunities and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities:


1. Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement the strategic sales plan for the PCR/TBR/OTR tire division, aligning with overall company objectives.

Identify market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to shape the division's long-term strategy.


2. Sales Management:

Lead, mentor, support and motivate a team of sales managers and support staff to achieve sales goals.

Develop and manage sales quotas, targets, and budgets to ensure revenue and profitability objectives are met.


3. Market Penetration and Growth:

Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the PCR/TBR/OTR tire market.

Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, dealers, distributors and industry partners to enhance market presence.

Drive the development and execution of effective sales strategies to increase market share and revenue growth.


4. Product Knowledge and Technical Expertise:

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new tire technologies, and market developments in the PCR/TBR/OTR segment.

Provide technical expertise to the sales team, assisting in customer consultations and addressing complex inquiries.


5. Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, supply chain, and customer support to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

Work closely with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns and promotional activities.

6. Forecasting and Reporting:

Analyze sales data market trends, and customer feedback to provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management.

Regularly present sales performance updates and insights to executive leadership.


7. Budget Management:

Develop and manage the sales budget, allocating resources effectively to achieve optimal results.

Monitor expenses and control costs while ensuring the delivery of quality services.


8. Compliance and Ethics:

Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and industry regulations in all sales activities.

Qualifications

  • Sales Management, Sales Strategy, and Sales Target Setting skills
  • Customer Relationship Management and Business Development skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and decision-making abilities
  • Knowledge of the tire industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
