Essential Functions
- Collaborate with other Sales Managers to drive overall sales performance and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Lead and oversee the sales team, ensuring exceptional customer experiences from initial greeting to closing the sale.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans in collaboration with the General Manager to achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Monitor and optimize inventory daily to maintain the ideal stock mix for maximum turnover and profitability.
- Foster strong cross-departmental collaboration with F&I, Accounting, Operations, Service, and Parts to enhance the overall sales process.
- Track and manage all customer interactions, ensuring leads are properly logged and followed up using a CRM system.
- Coach and mentor sales associates, setting ambitious yet attainable sales targets and providing ongoing support.
- Uphold and enforce best practices in sales techniques, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across the team.
- Conduct engaging sales meetings and training sessions to enhance team performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and provide coaching and guidance to direct reports as needed.
- Perform timely performance evaluations, including new hire assessments and annual employee reviews.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in marine or power sports vehicle sales required.
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
