Overview:
Our client is seeking a results-driven and commercially savvy Sales Persona to lead gasket sales efforts across the Gulf Coast and wider U.S. market. This role is well-suited to an experienced sales professional - either an established Sales Manager or a high-performing Account Executive ready to take the next step into a leadership position. You'll play a key role in expanding the company's market presence, managing key customer relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead sales initiatives for gasket solutions, targeting EPCs, end users, OEMs, and stocking distributors in the industrial and energy sectors.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to quoting, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships, while proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal estimation and engineering teams to prepare accurate technical and commercial proposals.
- Work closely with global supply chain and operations teams to ensure timely deliveries and superior customer experience.
- Maintain CRM records (e.g., HubSpot or equivalent) for pipeline management, forecasting, and tracking key sales metrics.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to enhance visibility and brand recognition.
- Gather and share market intelligence, including competitor analysis, to shape sales strategies and pricing models.
- Mentor junior sales staff as the U.S. team grows.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 3-6 years of B2B sales experience in industrial consumables; experience with gaskets or sealing products is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in business development, client acquisition, and account growth.
- Technically inclined, with the ability to understand and explain gasket applications and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of the Houston industrial market and an established network within oil & gas or energy sectors is a plus.
- Proficient in CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce; comfortable with data-driven sales strategies.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Energetic, ambitious, and eager to grow into a strategic leadership role.
