Sales Manager (Freight & Logistics)
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager (Freight & Logistics) to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving growth and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will have prior sales experience within Logistics and Freight Forwarding , possess strong skills in business development, customer relationship management, and strategic planning.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Freight & Logistics. (Freight forwarding, Sea Freight, Air Freight, Drayage, Transloading, etc.)
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their logistics needs and provide customized solutions
- Collaborate to create effective strategies for lead generation and conversion.
- Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company objectives.
Qualifications
- Prior Sales experience within freight forwarding industry.
- Proven track record in sales, business development, or account management within the logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry.
- Knowledgeable in freight pricing, shipping routes, international logistics
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in customer relationship management
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet sales and revenue goals.
- This position requires travelling to visit customers
