A family-owned manufacturer and distributor specializing in high quality, innovative products including hardscapes, brick, stone veneer, CMU block, rebar, chemicals, coatings, and architectural cast stone. Starting salary is $100,000 plus commission/bonuses.


Role Defined:

The Residential Market Manager will drive growth by promoting and expanding knowledge of our building products and services to influence the contractor and end-user community to develop specific strategies to drive territory sales and achieve customer satisfaction with our products, enhancing our brand loyalty.

How You Will Make an Impact:


  • Primary ResponsibilitiesWork directly with the Central Ohio Senior Business Development Leader to develop the strategic plan to grow the business.
  • Work collaboratively to define specific, measurable sales growth goals and objectives.
  • Prospect for and develop strategies to grow business with new customers including contractors and influencers
  • Able to present in an office environment to various customer types using Power Point and other presenting materials

  • Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of five years building materials sales experience. Strong existing relationships with this customer base is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans
  • Demonstrated ability to network, influence, and educate the customer base on products.
  • Proficient in networking and developing relationships with all levels of building materials including owners, architects, construction managers, engineers, masons, and general contractors.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic, ability to establish trust, and to build credible, strategic business relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, translate and communicate complex technical specifications, blue prints / project drawings, basic take offs and concepts.
  • Excellent time management skills, strong interpersonal skills, and strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office products and CRM systems.
  • Experience with INFOR a plus.
  • This is an outside sales role. Requires daily travel to visit customer base. Minimal overnight travel may be necessary
