Responsibilities

  • The Sales Manager will manage all sales activities and key customer accounts within assigned territory.
  • Lead and support Sales Representatives in the region.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans.
  • The Sales Manager will identify and secure new business opportunities through prospecting and relationship-building.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activity, and forecasts.
  • Act as primary contact for customers; address concerns and coordinate between customer, manufacturer, and supplier.
  • Provide technical support on forging applications.
  • The Sales Manager will monitor market trends and recommend strategic adjustments.
  • Travel frequently across Canada and the U.S. and occasional international travel.

Qualifications

  • The Sales Manager must hold a bachelor's degree.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the forging/ steel industry.
  • Must have experience in closed-die forgings and steel.
  • Must have experience in both commercial and aerospace industries.
  • Proven success in B2B technical sales and key account management.
  • The Sales Manager must have strong skills in relationship management, channel management, and market strategy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (including Teams), Microsoft DAX, Smartsheet, and Nimble CRM.
  • The Sales Manager must have the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively and visit manufacturing sites as needed.
  • MUST BE A CITIZEN/ GC HOLDER
