Compensation: $80,000 Base + $8,500 Guaranteed Cash Allowances + Uncapped Commissions & Quarterly Bonuses On-Target Earnings (OTE): $100,000+ Full Benefits Company Gas card Defined Leadership Development Programs Territory: 1-1.5 hours radius from Jackson
Position Overview:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, driving new business acquisition, and coaching a team of field sales professionals across a variety of B2B verticals. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a passion for building teams, developing talent, and exceeding revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Outside Sales Representatives to achieve and exceed individual and team sales goals
- Drive new business development efforts across SMB to major enterprise accounts in industries such as biotech, manufacturing, education, hospitality, and healthcare
- Develop and implement a strategic Sales Plan; track progress through monthly and quarterly updates to senior leadership
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key accounts and high-potential prospects
- Coach sales team on effective prospecting, appointment-setting, and territory management strategies
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to optimize sales tactics and territory planning
- Collaborate with marketing on campaign initiatives and sales enablement tools
- Negotiate pricing and service agreements in alignment with company guidelines
- Monitor KPIs and prepare performance reports for executive leadership
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 4+ years of successful B2B new business development experience
- 3+ years in a sales leadership or team lead role preferred
- Proven track record of building, coaching, and managing high-performing sales teams
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
