Your role and responsibilities
As an AI Engineer in Client Engineering, developing trusted relationships, you'll work with clients and colleagues to shape the future of their technology landscape, creating (4-6 week) pilots for clients, and contributing to IBM's story of growth and technology innovation. You will combine your technical education with consultative sales practices, helping enterprises succeed by providing solutions across Data & AI, Cloud, Sustainability, Automation, and more.
Your responsibilities include:
- Pilot Development: Develop pilots to validate and demonstrate the effectiveness of AI solutions. Collaborate with development teams to implement and refine pilots, ensuring they meet customer needs. Follow IBM's Pilot Engineering Method, a human- and design-led approach that uses co-creation to solve complex business problems with IBM hybrid cloud and AI technology.
- Collaboration and Project Management: Work with cross-functional teams including AI engineers, platform engineers, and project managers to ensure successful delivery of AI and Automation solutions. Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies effectively to stakeholders.
- Customer Engagement and Support: Serve as a technical contact for customers, addressing questions and concerns. Provide support during pilot deployment and advise on scaling pilots into production.
- Industry Trends and Innovation: Keep up with the latest in AI and related technologies. Evaluate new tools and frameworks for their potential to enhance solution design and implementation.
Qualifications
Required education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
Preferred skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and local language. Analytical skills focused on data-driven decision-making. Ability to work collaboratively across functions.
Preferred experience:
Experience with Sales and/or IT, passion for AI and Data, and a results-oriented mindset.
