We are seeking a driven and experienced Sales Executive to lead growth efforts across the Southwest territory, including Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, and nearby states. This role is based in the Dallas area and involves frequent travel to meet client needs and close new equipment sales. You'll be responsible for expanding our customer base, maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue through the sale of high-performance packaging systems.
The Territory Sales Manager has these key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets for packaging machinery and integrated system solutions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Analyze market trends and customer data to shape account strategies
- Gather and communicate customer requirements to support accurate proposals
- Monitor industry competition and identify opportunities for growth
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in alignment with internal processes
- Maintain detailed records of sales activity, leads, and opportunities using CRM software
- Stay informed on financing options and discuss them confidently with clients
- Promote value-added services such as training, service, and spare parts
- Lead product demonstrations and presentations to support the sales process
- Provide accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts and execute territory business plans
The Territory Sales Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a technical discipline preferred
- 5+ years of B2B capital equipment sales experience
- Solid understanding of packaging technologies for industries such as food, CPG, chemical, milling, or animal feed
- At least 3 years of experience selling complex systems or packaging machinery
- Proven track record in managing major accounts within the CPG sector
- Experience working with distributors and agents in a capital equipment environment
