What's the role about?
Sales Executive - Nestlé Convenience
Join our dynamic team as a Sales Executive and play a key role in connecting customers with the brands they love, right at the point of purchase. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of £25,000 to £26,500 per annum, plus up to 20% bonus and a company car. The working hours are 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, covering territories including Stockport, Ashton-under-Lyne, Oldham, Macclesfield, Glossop, and surrounds.
As a Sales Executive, you'll be the face of leading brands in convenience stores across your assigned territory. Your mission will be to drive sales through excellent in-store execution, building strong relationships, and impactful merchandising. Your daily tasks will include optimizing product placement, creating eye-catching displays, and educating store teams on new products and promotions.
Key Responsibilities
- Visiting stores within a set route to execute retail activities that boost product visibility and sales
- Building relationships with store decision-makers to support product range and availability
- Merchandising shelves, fixing out-of-stocks, and ensuring promotional materials are correctly placed
- Implementing sales strategies like improving shelf layouts, updating pricing labels, or introducing new products
- Sharing market insights, category data, and brand news with store colleagues
- Capturing key data and reporting via digital tools
- Supporting brand and store performance through problem-solving, customer service, and commercial thinking
Candidate Requirements
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- Strong commercial acumen and proactive problem-solving abilities
- Ability to interpret sales data and act on insights
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
- Previous experience in field sales, retail, or merchandising is advantageous but not essential-attitude matters most.
