We are partnered with an established leader in the Workplace Technology space with a mission to enhance life, work, and entertainment through innovative use of Audio, Visual, Lighting, and Control technologies. They are seeking an experienced candidate who shares these values to assist with their growth as a Sales Executive.
About the Position:
This will be an individual contributor, outside sales position, working closely with the CEO and COO to sell Audio, Visual, Lighting, and Control equipment and services to Commercial Clients. They will be responsible for the full spectrum of sales duties, including sourcing leads, discovery calls, sales presentations, contract negotiations, closing, and post-sale follow-ups. In addition, strong Account Management experience would be a must to nurture and grow repeat business further.
The Ideal candidate should have a strong track record in successfully closing new business within the Commercial Audio/Visual industries. In addition, they should have a big-picture, strategic mindset that would foster a target approach to effectively grow business revenue. - Location: Kensington, MD. Hybrid, with moderate domestic travel (local/regional) for client meetings.
- Compensation: $55K - $70K with Commissions and Bonuses.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the CEO and COO to formulate effective sales strategies and business development plans.
- Conduct lead generation via appropriate tools (LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, etc.) and by attending relevant networking events.
- Perform daily client calls and outreach via phone, email, or other means to ensure a consistent sales pipeline.
- Conduct discovery calls to ascertain and understand critical client needs and follow up with virtual and/or on-site sales presentations to strengthen interest.
- Work with the CEO and COO to handle contract and pricing negotiations to effectively close sales.
- Track, review, and analyze sales performance data, and consult with the CEO and COO to implement course adjustments to ensure effective sales results.
- Manage client information within the CRM and ensure smooth operational handover to installation and post-sale service.
- Handle Account Management and appropriate customer follow-ups to nurture existing relations to ensure repeat business.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends and technical developments within the Commercial Audio, Visual, and Lighting industry.
The Right Candidate Will Have:
- 3+ years of full-cycle, outside sales experience selling to mid-size to large commercial clients.
- 3+ years of product sales experience and the ability to conduct sales demonstrations with technical complexity.
- Experience utilizing various tools such as LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, or ZoomInfo to source sales leads.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, with a strategic vision for business growth, will be critical to this position.
- Strong connections in Commercial Facilities, Commercial Services, or Entertainment industries are highly preferred.
