The Role
The Sales and Events Coordinator will assist the Sales & Marketing Department with overall administrative duties (such as filing, detailing group resumes, inter departmental communication, presentations, and more), customer follow up, and servicing rooms only groups. This position will assist in coordinating client needs. Responsibilities will also include maintaining the sales systems, preparing reports and analysis, as well as provide support to the Director of Sales and Sales team. Highly organized, detail oriented, analytically minded, good oral and written communication skills are of utmost importance. The Sales and Events Coordinator may also be exposed to confidential hotel, client, and colleague information, so knowledge of SOX compliance and the ability to monitor private information is a must.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills on assignments.
