Description of the role: The Sales & Event Coordinator at The Foundry Hotel Asheville, Curio Collection will be responsible for planning and coordinating all sales and events at the hotel. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of sales and event planning
  • Coordinate with clients to arrange meetings and events
  • Create and maintain event schedules
  • Handles all FastPay and in-house commission payments
  • Closes all group contracts-adds final pick up in Sales Force, rewards event points
  • Prepare event proposals and contracts, and update rooming list
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in event planning or sales coordination
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event planning software (Salesforce and Delphi)
