Position Overview: The Sales/Estimator plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by generating new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and accurately preparing estimates for construction projects. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Identify potential projects and prepare competitive bids and proposals.
  • Analyze project requirements, blueprints, and specifications to create accurate cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate scoping of projects.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities within the industry.
  • Present project estimates and proposals to clients and negotiate terms.
  • Maintain detailed records of all sales activities and project estimates.
  • Work closely with internal teams to align on project goals and ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in sales and estimating within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost estimation processes.
  • Proficiency in construction software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Xactimate, or estimating software).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
