We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will involve partnering with our sales managers to act as a project manager, answer customer inquiries, gather additional required project information, review plans, and become a technical expert and partner to the sales team.


Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Coordinate with sales managers to oversee project timelines, deliverables, and client communications.
  • Customer Inquiries: Respond to customer inquiries promptly and accurately, providing technical support and information as needed.
  • Information Gathering: Collect and analyze additional project information to ensure all customer requirements are met.
  • Plan Review: Review engineering plans and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer needs and industry standards.
  • Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our engineering products and services to provide expert advice and solutions to customers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to provide technical insights and support during the sales process.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Reporting: Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, project progress, and technical issues using CRM software and other tools.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest engineering products, services, and industry developments to provide the best possible support to customers and the sales team.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a technical sales or engineering role, preferably in the engineering or construction industry.

Skills:

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with customers and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and other project management tools.
