Sales Engineer - U.S. Region

Overview:
We are on the lookout for a Sales Engineer to spearhead our sales initiatives throughout the Americas. This customer-facing role combines technical insight with sales strategy to grow key accounts, forge new partnerships with Aerospace clients and identify high-value opportunities in a complex, low-volume, high-variety production environment.
This position is perfect for someone who thrives on travel, loves solving real-world engineering problems, and is energized by meaningful customer interactions. You'll work hand-in-hand with both our internal teams and external clients to develop innovative, tailored solutions that drive success for all parties.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Create and implement a strategic plan to meet and exceed sales targets, with a strong emphasis on new customer acquisition.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Airlines, MROs, OEMs, and tiered suppliers.
- Translate customer requirements into actionable solutions by coordinating closely with our engineering team.
- Provide expert insight into how our products function and fit into customers' systems and platforms.
- Lead discussions around product applications, modifications, and integration strategies.
- Monitor and respond to trends in the aerospace market, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Represent the company at aerospace trade shows, conferences, and client meetings.
- Travel extensively within your assigned territory (expect 60%+ time on the road).
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline (advanced degree a bonus).
- 3-5 years of aerospace industry experience, ideally with both technical and customer-facing responsibilities.
- Solid understanding of aerospace systems, components, and the sales lifecycle in this space.
- Ability to engage in technical discussions and align customer challenges with practical, engineered solutions.
- Established connections in the aerospace ecosystem-especially among Airlines, OEMs, and MROs.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable managing time and relationships independently, especially in a travel-heavy role.
