Join Our Client's Team as an OGC Sales Engineer.


Our client is seeking a talented OGC Sales Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in energy management to contribute to increased production, the achievement of sustainability goals, and improved operational safety for their customers. The goal is to expand their market share in the industry through the sale of new and existing products and services, while meeting sales and profit margin targets.


Responsibilities:

  • Support sales efforts by calling on end users and working closely with strategic distribution channel partners.
  • Form and maintain relationships with customers through technical training, product support, and process evaluation for performance improvement.
  • Develop and manage the business plan for individual sales territories using CRM and account planning.
  • Generate sales and develop forecasts to project growth in the territory.
  • Develop and implement activities that support the organization's strategic goals and sustainability initiatives.
  • Create strong customer relationships through consultative sales techniques and routine customer contact, leading to repeat business in assigned territories.
  • Identify sales potential within companies, prioritize accounts, and develop action plans to penetrate the market, including cold calling and other canvassing techniques.
  • Train end users on products and services, either informally or during formal presentations.
  • Ensure that customers receive accurate and timely quotations for products/services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of outside sales experience selling a technical or industrial-related product line. Experience working directly in the Oil, Gas, & Chemical industry on steam and other energy applications will also be considered.
  • Expertise in delivering presentations in a boardroom setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and CRM business software is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
