Primary Function-
To develop project opportunities for Pacific Rim Mechanical's Service Group by working with existing clients and by building new relationships.
Typical Duties-
- Primary focus on owner-direct repairs, replacements, retrofits, and tenant improvements.
- Identifying and developing business opportunities with new and existing customers by utilizing your product knowledge & applications experience in the HVAC market
- Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions
- Create and deliver presentations that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition
- Obtain, assemble, and organize all project documentation to turnover to operations
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, & Experience-
- Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer.
- Proven track record selling complex solutions.
- Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives.
- Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent presentation and creativity skills.
- This position requires a strong technical or mechanical background along with the ability to learn engineering concepts.
- Passion for meeting customers.
- Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Business, or other technical disciplines) and or two year related trade school.
- 5+ years of working and demonstrable knowledge of Commercial HVAC systems.
- 1+ years of experience providing direct management/leadership experience involving reps, consulting. engineers, and contractors, with a thorough understanding of the commercial sales process.
- Knowledge of control systems and DDC.
Salary Range-
$100,000 - $200,000 annually (FSLA Exempt)
Total earnings can surpass $200,000, depending on performance and commission
