Sales Engineer - $70,000 + Commission (2-5% uncapped) + $10,000 Relocation Assistance - Butte, MT 59701 (50% Travel Required)


The Role

Do you have a background in engineering and a proven record in capital equipment sales? Are you confident presenting technical solutions and building trusted client relationships?

We're looking for a Sales Engineer to join our client's growing team.

You'll work directly with customers to demonstrate, explain, and support the sale of their unique ResonantAcoustic Mixers-a product that reduces mixing time and setup costs while improving outcomes.


This role suits someone who enjoys travel (around 50%), solving complex technical problems, and turning engineering knowledge into commercial success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities
  • Deliver live product demonstrations at client sites
  • Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, and trade shows
  • Support existing customers and manage the full sales cycle
  • Respond to technical questions and provide accurate information
  • Maintain communication with internal teams on client needs
  • Use Salesforce CRM to track leads, opportunities, and outcomes
  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer queries and challenges

The Person

  • Self-motivated and confident working independently
  • 5+ years' experience in capital equipment sales
  • Skilled in explaining technical products to all audiences
  • Strong in live product demonstrations and customer presentations
  • Analytical, organized, and solutions-driven
  • Degree-qualified in Engineering or related field
  • Able to travel across the U.S. (valid driving license required)
  • A U.S. citizen with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Mechanically minded and confident operating equipment
