Job Overview

The Sales Effectiveness Leader will be responsible for developing and implementing all commercial initiatives focused on process improvement for the OmniOn global sales function. This is a senior-level role where the candidate needs to be experienced in developing and improving commercial processes and improving the productivity of commercial teams.

This position reports to the VP of Sales & Marketing and is located in Plano, TX.

Responsibilities

As the sales effectiveness leader, your typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Lead the improvement of the accuracy of demand forecasting for the OmniOn products portfolio resulting in a demand signal to the supply chain function receives that supports meeting revenue and OTD targets.
  • Facilitate process to prepare commercial team contributions to key weekly and monthly business cadence including:
    • Orders Pacing, Regional orders and revenue reviews, monthly financial review and monthly strategic actions review
  • Drive process to capture and monitor key actions resulting from monthly regional operating reviews
  • Drive maximum adoption of (SFDC); Be the functional lead for SFDC upgrade initiatives and other sales related tools
  • Act as Process lead for commercial review process partnering with Region Sales Leaders
  • Partner with contract management and legal on effective management of MSA's and delegation of authority process
  • Mentor and coach Sales Operations Analyst to drive improvement in use and quality of commercial analytics.
  • Partner with Finance and Regional Leaders to track and optimize selling expenses at a global level
  • Develop and implement process to measure say/do ratio at meeting NPI and Design win revenue process
  • Identify and implement improvements identified in the commercialization process partnering with regional sales and marketing
  • Partner with regional sales and marketing to support and improve lead generation process and tools
  • Partner with Regional Leaders, Training and Development Manager, and any other subject matter experts (SME's) to support regional commercial training initiatives
  • Support process and tool requirements needed for sales synergy objectives between Acbel and OmniOn Power

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 10 years sales / commercial experience where they led and implemented process improvement in their everyday environment
  • Strong proficiency in (SFDC) with at least 2 years minimum experience
  • Position requires the ability to travel both domestically and internationally, an average of25% of the time during a typical workweek.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence at all levels of management, across functions and regions.
  • Practical experience with strategic selling tools and methodology
