Sales Director - HVAC & Manufacturing

We're conducting an exclusive search for a Sales Director to drive strategic growth and lead a high-performing domestic and global sales team within the HVAC, cooling, humidity control, and filtration industries. This role will manage an established distributor network and play a key role in expanding market presence. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of sales leadership experience, particularly in technical product sales, and a proven ability to build and grow distributor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet revenue goals and expand market reach.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire the sales team to exceed targets.
  • Identify and pursue new markets, customer segments, and distribution opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
  • Support distributors and end users with post-warranty product issues.
  • Analyze market trends, sales data, and competitor activity to guide strategy.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations to align goals.
  • Report on sales performance and market insights to senior leadership.
  • Manage the sales budget and maximize return on investment.
  • Stay current on industry trends and regulatory developments.
  • Champion a culture of professionalism, customer focus, and integrity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of sales leadership in manufacturing or ITAR compliant product sectors.
  • Expertise in distributor network management.
  • Sales / OEM Engineering background highly preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with CRM proficiency.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and compliance standards.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
