We are currently seeking an energetic and highly motivated Sales Director who will play a pivotal role in the growth and expansion of our company in the engineering industry. This is a permanent position offering the successful candidate the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and innovative team.

Responsibilities:
As a Sales Director, your main responsibility will be to drive our business success by implementing a strong and sustainable sales strategy. Your role will be crucial to the success of our company, as you will be responsible for driving top-line revenue growth.

Key responsibilities will include:

1. Developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
2. Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
3. Partnering with clients to understand their business needs and objectives.
4. Effectively communicating the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
5. Understanding category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting on the forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
6. Managing OEM relationships and negotiating contracts.
7. Overseeing and coordinating the sales team activities.
8. Establishing sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories.
9. Monitoring and analyzing performance metrics and suggest improvements.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving sales and meeting sales targets in the engineering industry, specifically with a focus on B2B sales.

Minimum qualifications include:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
2. 5+ years of sales experience, with a focus on enterprise sales.
3. Proven ability to position products against competitors.
4. Demonstrable experience as a sales director, developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
5. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
6. Proven experience in territory management and direct sales.
7. Experience in the automotive industry and dealing with OEMs.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Strong business sense and industry expertise.
10. Ability to travel as needed.
