We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Director to join our team. In this role, you will drive revenue growth, build strong client relationships, and provide strategic guidance to our customers. Your main focus will be selling Yahoo's premium sponsorship packages and media solutions to agencies and brands to help them meet their marketing objectives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy and Revenue Generation:
  2. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets.
  3. Identify and target potential clients, including agencies and brands, to promote Yahoo's advertising value.
  4. Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to ensure consistent revenue growth.
  5. Collaborate with sales teams and management to develop effective strategies.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Understand client objectives and challenges to propose tailored advertising solutions.
  • Conduct presentations to showcase Yahoo's capabilities.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Consultative Selling and Solution Development:

  • Analyze client needs and develop customized digital advertising solutions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to meet client requirements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends to provide strategic insights.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work with Yahoo teams for client feedback and product improvement.
  • Coordinate with account management for onboarding and campaign execution.
  • Negotiate contracts with finance and legal departments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Proven success in digital advertising sales, especially in publisher environments.
  • Deep knowledge of premium display advertising and sponsorship sales.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising industry trends.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making abilities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
  • Team-oriented with effective cross-functional collaboration skills.

Our compensation ranges from $188,625 to $393,125 annually, with potential bonuses or commissions. Benefits include healthcare, 401(k), education stipends, and more.
