Job Title: Regional Sales & Operations Director

We are a global, private equity-backed corporate business operating at a fast pace, serving demanding customers in the construction, healthcare, and education markets. We are seeking a Regional Sales & Operations Director to oversee approximately £80 million P&L across the North-West of England.

Compensation & Benefits

Job Description

As a Regional Sales & Operations Director, you will direct the operational and strategic course for your region, ensuring smooth operations and driving significant growth. You should possess strong commercial acumen, strategic planning skills, and the ability to lead process transformations while exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage 4-6 depot locations, circa £80 million P&L with £30 million EBITDA, overseeing operational and sales teams.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate 7-10 direct and indirect colleagues, focusing on people development and succession planning.
  • Implement sales strategies to ensure profitable growth with key clients, including major construction contractors.
  • Promote a safety-first culture, leading transformational change emphasizing safety, service, quality, cost, and delivery.
Person Specification

Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or similar business, such as construction, food, automotive, or pharmaceuticals, preferably within larger corporations.
  • Leadership of 5-10 direct and 60+ indirect team members.
  • Approachable and visible management style, familiar with every team member in the region.
  • Control of a £20 million+ P&L with a focus on profitable growth.
  • Experience with continuous improvement, transformational change, and M&A activities.
