SedMed is a medical device and mobility products company that improves the safety and independence of those who struggle with Activities of Daily Living and reduces injuries to health care workers. Our primary product is the SedMed Toilet Lift Assist, a gas-spring powered lift that mounts onto standard US toilets and assists individuals with getting on and off the toilet. Falls are a threat to the health of adults and can reduce their ability to remain independent. Falls among adults aged 65 and older are common, costly, and preventable. Sales Development Representative
Bring your extraordinary selling skills into hospitals and healthcare systems to this emerging medical device, mobility products company. The company would like to expand on the East Coast, and you will be empowered to shape your own career. We are in search of candidates with 3-8 years of highly successful outside sales or B2B experience selling into hospital and healthcare systems. The ideal candidate is driven, competitive, loves a challenge, willing to travel, has a winning attitude and can sell. This is a role with heavy cold calling, prospecting, lead generation, equipment presentation, and closing responsibilities. Career upside includes building out a Sales Team to support the East Coast.
- Using deep understanding of enterprise sales cycles with a focus in healthcare systems, develop innovative strategies to meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue and margin targets
- Build and form new partnerships with potential clients
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets
- Responsible for navigating the sales cycle from discovery through deal close
- Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers and gain a better understanding of their business objectives and needs
- Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals
- Provide monthly sales reports to executive team
- Initially, the sales manager will take on sales responsibilities directly and over time build a sales team as needed to best support organizational growth
Qualifications
- 3+ years of selling experience into hospitals and healthcare systems
- Demonstrated sales accomplishments
- Must be a self-starter, highly motivated and organized
- Strong, creative problem-solving and time management skills
- Ability to travel nationally
