Position Overview:
The Online Demand Creation team at GE Vernova is seeking a dynamic Sales Development Representative contractor. This remote role is integral to supporting marketing campaigns and managing inbound lead generation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound leads, following established Standard Operating Procedures and processes, ensuring timely follow-up within 2 business days
- Utilize Salesforce CRM to track and update lead status throughout the sales funnel, according to documented processes
- Engage directly with prospective customers to understand business readiness, drive interest in product offerings, ensuring they meet standard qualification criteria before transitioning deal-ready customers to global commercial teams.
- Assist with sales and customer follow-up post-webinars to convert interest into actionable outcomes, while sharing insights and knowledge with the sales team.
- Collaborate with global sales teams to monitor pipeline progression from online leads
- Communicate with leads via email and phone to assess sales potential based on established qualification criteria.
- Facilitate smooth handoff and transition of communication by coordinating with relevant sales personnel.
- Conduct additional research on leads and their companies, including online activity and seniority, when necessary.
