The Role

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for educating the market and qualifying leads. They will be responsible for speaking with our prospective clients (via email, phone and chat) and following up with them to nurture the interation with the goal of qualification and handoff to an Account Executive. A key requirement is to conduct business dealings in a way that creates a superior customer experience. The goal is not to sell, but to understand the problems and challenges agencies and marketing teams are faced with.


A typical workday is comprised of sending prospective emails, making calls, chatting with and doing research on prospective companies located around the globe. Sometimes you will have to help the customer through their review and approval process to demonstrate the basic features of Ziflow, so you must be comfortable learning new technology and explaining its value.

Responsibilities:

- Speaking with prospective clients via email, phone and chat, and maintaining a well-organized CRM and pipeline.

- Educating prospective clients on the benefits of Ziflow versus competitors and the "status quo"

- Responding to inquiries and referrals from clients in a timely and effective manner.

- Generating sales qualified leads (SQLs) and opportunities (Opps) for the Account Executive team.


Requirements:

- You're a digital native: You like technology. You are familiar with how online marketing works and are eager to learn more. You know how to explain what you do to your grandparents.

- You're a problem solver: As a subject matter expert, you're eager to help prospective clients find the solution to their creative marketing woes.

- You're detail oriented: You understand the importance of accurate and thorough data, and how it's used.

- You're a go-getter: You take the initiative to make things happen rather than waiting.

- You're eager to learn: You are a recent college, sales bootcamp graduate or a person with 1 to 2 years of experience looking to start a career in sales.
