Title: Sales Development Representative

Location: Columbus OH


We are seeking motivated and articulate Sales Development Representatives to join our sales team. This is an in the office position. Remote or hybrid is not an option. In this role, you will be responsible for contacting potential clients by phone, identifying decision-makers, briefly educating them on our client's services, and setting appointments for our Business Development team.


Key Responsibilities:


• Conduct outbound calls to prospects from provided lead lists or CRM.


• Initiate conversations to introduce our client's services and value proposition.


• Qualify prospects based on predefined criteria.


• Schedule appointments for the Business Development team.


• Maintain accurate records of calls, conversations, and appointments in the CRM system.


• Meet or exceed daily/weekly call and appointment-setting goals.


• Follow scripts and talking points while adapting to each conversation.


• Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align messaging and follow-up strategies.


• Provide feedback on call performance and lead quality.


Qualifications:


• Previous experience in outbound sales, telemarketing, or appointment setting preferred.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Comfortable making a high volume of calls each day.


• Ability to handle objections professionally and confidently.


• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.


• Proficient in CRM systems and basic computer applications.


• Self-motivated with a positive, energetic attitude.


Preferred:


• Experience in healthcare, insurance, or employee benefits industry.
