About The Role

We're looking for a driven and dynamic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to be the frontline of our sales engine. As the first point of contact for potential customers, you'll play a critical role in identifying, engaging, and qualifying early-stage leads, setting the foundation for long-term client relationships. You'll collaborate closely with our marketing and senior sales teams to generate a consistent pipeline of high-quality, sales-ready opportunities for our enterprise software solutions, purpose-built for the energy and utilities sector. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, highly communicative, and confident using CRM platforms and modern sales engagement tools. Your efforts will directly influence the success of our sales strategy and contribute to the company's growth in a rapidly evolving industry. This role is based in Atlanta, Georgia and will operate out of our workspace in Ponce City Market.


About You

You are an emerging sales professional with a passion for identifying opportunities and sparking meaningful conversations in the B2B and enterprise software space. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, combining curiosity, communication, and persistence to generate qualified leads that fuel business growth. You're organized, proactive, and confident using modern sales tools to drive outreach and engagement. We're looking for someone who is:

  • experienced in sales development or lead generation, with 2-5 years in B2B or enterprise software environments.
  • confident communicator, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • tech-savvy, proficient in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot), sales engagement tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator) and marketing automation platforms.
  • highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities with precision.
  • self-motivated and collaborative, equally comfortable working independently or within a team structure.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will engage with inbound leads via email, phone, and social media platforms like LinkedIn to initiate meaningful conversations.
  • You'll conduct targeted outbound prospecting using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, and Marketo to identify and generate new leads.
  • Applying qualification frameworks like BANT, you will assess lead readiness for deeper sales engagement.
  • All lead interactions will be meticulously documented in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot) with detailed and timely updates.
  • You'll nurture early-stage leads through regular, personalized follow-ups to maintain engagement and build interest.
  • As leads mature, you will schedule discovery calls or product demonstrations for the Senior Sales Executives.
  • A key part of your role involves seamless collaboration with the sales team to ensure high-quality lead handoff and pipeline health.
  • Working closely with marketing, you'll align messaging, provide feedback on lead quality, and help refine targeting strategies.
  • You'll track and report on key performance metrics such as outreach volume, lead conversion rates, and overall pipeline contribution.
  • Regular analysis of outreach performance will guide you in adjusting strategies to continually optimize lead generation efforts.
