Job Description:
A client of Insight Global is looking to bring on a Sales Development Representative. This individual will be focused on growing the number of qualified Employer Sponsors interested in participating in their J-1 Intern and Trainee Visa program. This role entails proactively engaging hospitality businesses-specifically hotels and hotel groups-to identify and qualify prospective Sponsors, while providing ongoing support throughout the onboarding process in close coordination with the Business Development and Program Director teams.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage sales intelligence and engagement platforms (i.e., Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Outplay) to generate prospect lists matching the ideal Sponsor profile
- Execute multi-channel outbound outreach (email, cold calls, social media) to generate interest among targeted prospects.
- Introduce J-1 Intern and Trainee Visa program to prospects and qualify new business opportunities.
- Transfer qualified opportunities to the Business Development Director for next steps and deal closure.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sponsor records, job descriptions, and program details in CRM and other internal systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Business Development, Program Directors, Global Mobility) to ensure smooth sponsor onboarding and resolve any issues related to the J-1 process.
- Provide input on outreach strategies and participate in regular meetings with Business Development and Program Directors to align sales efforts with organizational goals.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field
- 2-4 years of experience as an SDR
- 75-100 outbound calls per day
- Proficient in email outreach
- Skilled in using CRM software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to sell and persuade
- Exceptional relationship-building skills
- Effective people management skills
