Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Data Analyst with 5 years of expertise in analyzing and interpreting sales data to drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using data analytics tools to collect, clean, and analyze data related to sales performance, customer trends, and market dynamics. You will work closely with the sales team to provide actionable insights and support strategic initiatives aimed at improving sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and key performance metrics.
    • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate sales performance.
    • Prepare regular sales performance reports and ad-hoc analysis for management and stakeholders.
  • Sales Forecasting & Insights:
    • Develop sales forecasts and projections based on historical data, market trends, and business performance.
    • Provide insights into sales performance, customer segmentation, and product profitability to optimize sales strategies.
    • Identify underperforming areas and suggest recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaboration with Sales Teams:
    • Partner with the sales team to track performance against targets and KPIs.
    • Assist in the development of sales strategies by providing data-driven insights.
    • Help the sales team understand and leverage data for decision-making.
  • Database Management & Quality Control:
    • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all sales-related databases and reporting systems.
    • Perform data cleaning and ensure data consistency in CRM and other sales tracking systems.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions that impact sales performance.
    • Provide actionable recommendations based on competitive analysis to guide sales strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to improve sales processes through data analysis and automation tools.
    • Proactively recommend changes to reporting and analysis techniques to drive more efficient and impactful insights.
Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales analytics, business intelligence, or related role.
    • Strong experience with sales performance analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, Oracle, or similar).
    • Advanced skills in data visualization and reporting.
    • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data management tools.
  • Analytical Skills:
    • Strong quantitative and analytical abilities, with experience in developing insights and making data-driven decisions.
    • Ability to analyze large datasets and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Education: Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
Pay Range:
P20-USA-1 :$62,510.00 - $89,300.00
