Description
Our successful hotel is looking for a hospitality professional with a sales mindset to assist in helping grow our hotel. You will serve as a liaison between the sales department and the front desk to provide our guests with an unforgettable experience at our hotel, in addition to attracting new guests to increase our revenue.
You'll be in charge of responding to guest inquiries, contacting potential new guests based on networking and referral leads, and assisting the sales team with administrative tasks. We are looking for someone with exceptional communication skills as well as previous sales experience. Please apply as soon as possible if this describes you.
Responsibilities
• Present prospective clients with sales presentations and other materials that promote event space, dining options, and facility features
• Perform an initial pitch to a list of business and referral prospects based on your research and networking
• Assist sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents, and communicating relevant information
• Recognize opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding guest satisfaction for the hotel group
• Assist clients by acting as a point of contact and communicating with them by phone and email in response to their queries and requests
Qualifications
• This position requires previous work experience in a hospitality role
• Proven track record of sales success
• Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor's degree in business administration or a similar field is a plus
• Stays organized and manage time well
• Understands how to communicate, negotiate, and network effectively
