Sales Consultant

Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Sales Consultant located in Columbia, MD. The candidate will be responsible for building relationships with potential customers, understanding their renovation needs, and providing tailored consulting to meet their requirements. The Sales Consultant will also be responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction, managing customer service interactions, and ensuring clients receive accurate and timely information about remodel options and services.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product information to effectively communicate with customers.
• Utilize skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and product comparisons.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries via phone.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the overall shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Sales Consulting and Consulting skills
• Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service skills
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment
• Previous experience in home remodeling or a related field is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field: (Preferred)
• Experience: Outside sales: 2 years (Required)
• License/Certification: MHIC Sales License (Preferred)
