Job Overview
We are seeking a Sales Consultant / Account Manager to assist walk-in customers, wholesale buyers, and commercial clients with their plumbing and design needs. This role requires a balance of customer service, sales, and account management skills. While industry experience is preferred, we are open to training the right candidate with strong sales experience and who is a fast learner.
Responsibilities
- Assist walk-in customers in selecting high-end plumbing material for home renovations or new builds.
- Provide quotes, price out products, and suggest alternatives when needed.
- Offer exceptional customer service and build long-term relationships.
- Maintain an organized and efficient sales process.
- Manage wholesale and commercial accounts, including developers and contractors.
- Work with industry professionals who source products through the showroom.
- Prepare and maintain spreadsheets for pricing, budgets, and quotes.
- Negotiate pricing and offer value-engineered solutions to meet client budgets.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to time-sensitive client requests.
Qualifications
- Experience in inside sales, preferably in a plumbing showroom or related showroom industry.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and respond quickly to client needs.
- Strong budgeting skills and ability to provide cost-effective solutions.
- Quick problem-solving skills to handle last-minute changes and requests.
- Positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a proactive mindset.
