Sales Compensation Manager - Rapidly Growing Medical Device Company
Location: South Bay, Los Angeles (Hybrid Schedule)
Salary: $120,000 - $135,000 base + benefits
Vaco LA is working with a fast-growing medical device company in South Bay, Los Angeles, seeking a Sales Compensation Manager to lead compensation planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for the sales organization. This is a high-impact role where you'll manage incentive programs, refine processes, and ensure alignment with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities


  • Ensure timely and precise payroll and accrual processing, working closely with finance teams to forecast year-end earnings and incentive payouts.

  • Manage and optimize SAP Commissions (CallidusCloud) to track and process sales incentives, ensuring accuracy and transparency.

  • Lead the annual sales compensation plan review, including testing, implementation, and system updates.

  • Develop reports and dashboards to provide clear insights into sales performance, helping executives make data-driven decisions.

  • Act as a key liaison between Sales, Finance, and HR, ensuring alignment on compensation structures and resolving any discrepancies.

  • Handle dispute resolutions and policy enforcement, serving as a subject matter expert on incentive plans.

  • Supervise and mentor a team of financial analysts, ensuring efficiency in compensation operations and forecasting.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.

  • 7+ years of experience in finance, sales compensation, or related roles within a mid-to-large-sized organization.

  • 2+ years of management experience leading compensation or financial analysis teams.

  • Prior experience supporting Sales and/or Marketing teams within a distributor-based organization is a strong plus.

  • Proficiency in SAP Commissions (CallidusCloud) or similar incentive management software is highly preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in compensation modeling, financial forecasting, and incentive plan design.
