Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive Sales and Business Development Representative with a strong focus on territory growth and market expansion in the Renton and Seattle area. This role is ideal for a sales professional who excels in managing and growing an established territory while proactively exploring new market opportunities. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Territory Planning:
  • Develop and execute sales plans that prioritize territory growth and new market exploration.
  • Identify local market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights in the Renton and Seattle area.
  • Align sales strategies with business goals and collaborate across departments.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients within the territory.
  • Understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions that align with local market needs.
  • Negotiate contracts, close deals, and follow up via in-person meetings or video conferences.
  • Promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategies in client engagements.
Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within and beyond the existing territory.
  • Conduct cold calls, emails, and networking to generate leads in local markets.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions in the Seattle area.
  • Partner with local schools, universities, and organizations to explore business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create effective promotional materials.
Sales Reporting & Analysis:
  • Track sales metrics, analyze performance, and adjust strategies for territory growth.
  • Prepare regular sales reports for management with a focus on market expansion.
  • Ensure alignment with overall sales strategies to increase customer satisfaction.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Proven sales experience (3-5 years) in the transportation, tourism, or hospitality industry.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and growing a sales territory.
  • Strong understanding of the Renton and Seattle market.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calling.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a passion for exceeding targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to identify business opportunities.
  • Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract (past 3 years).
  • Multilingual skills are an asset.
