Role Description:As a Solar Sales Representative with Sunrun, you'll connect directly with homeowners to educate them on the benefits of going solar and guide them through the process. This is a field-based, commission-only role with flexible hours. While some outreach can be done virtually, the core of this position involves going door to door-meeting customers where they are.
Please note: This is a
door-to-door field position, not a remote or office-based role. "On-site" in this case means
in neighborhoods, not at a single job location.
What You'll Do:- Generate and manage leads (in-person or virtual)
- Educate customers on solar energy and Sunrun's services
- Guide homeowners through the consultation process
- Close sales and celebrate installations
- Attend weekly virtual trainings and team calls (Wednesdays)
Qualifications:- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Competitive mindset with a team-player attitude
- No prior solar experience needed - full training provided
- Sales experience is a plus but not required
