Sales Associate Responsibilities:- Identify and engage prospective customers to cultivate sales opportunities.
- Establish and nurture relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Manage and monitor the business opportunity pipeline effectively.
- Prepare and deliver bids and estimates to clients using bid documents, blueprints, and project specifications.
- Provide accurate project-specific solutions, including takeoffs and bill of materials.
- Collaborate with management and team members to set and achieve sales and project goals.
- Recognize industry trends and code requirements to propose new products and enhancements.
- Ensure familiarity with company products and services, with a preference for Edwards (EST) products.
Sales Associate Qualifications:- Prior sales experience, preferably in the fire alarm/life safety sector.
- Proficiency in sales practices and techniques, a book of business, is a plus.
- Knowledgeable about competitive products and market dynamics.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Clear and effective communication abilities with customers and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
