Introduction:

Bode is an American luxury brand, founded in 2016, by Emily Adams Bode Aujla. Emily was the first female designer to show at Men's NYFW with a collection entirely made of one-of-a-kind garments. Driven by the exploration of personal narratives and historical techniques, Bode's seasonal collections now consist of garments made from historical reproductions of antique materials, textiles, and clothing. Bode has a storefront in New York and Los Angeles and sells to boutiques across the globe.


About the Job:

Candidates for the Sales Associate position will ideally possess a minimum of one year experience working in luxury retail and should be familiar with the Bode brand. Sales Associates are responsible for achieving sales goals by building and maintaining client relationships, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining visual standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Welcome clients and provide them with a high-level experience
  • Demonstrate excellent product knowledge and be well informed about the company history, current events and general information about the brand
  • Maintain customer correspondence to build relationships and drive sales
  • Utilize technology and virtual selling for client outreach
  • Perform opening and closing store tasks
  • Assist with inventory, special events and other projects as needed
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
  • Maintain open, professional and ongoing communications with store management, peers and corporate partners

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

  • 1-3 years of prior relevant work experience
  • Well-developed written and verbal skills
  • Able to network and socialize with our target customers
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Positive energy and genuine desire to work with people
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledgeable of current industry trends and technology, including familiarity of competition
  • Be proactive, self-motivated and have an interest in continued learning
