Sales (Field Sales - Martial Arts SaaS)
Location: Houston, TX - Onsite
Salary: $40,000/year (Full-time) + attractive commission on sales
Travel: Local/regional field visits (Texas and nearby states)
About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and energetic Business Development Executive to help grow our SaaS
product in the martial arts industry, especially taekwondo centers. You will be the face of Surge, visiting
centers, building relationships, and closing deals. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to build a
career in sales, is comfortable with face-to-face outreach, and is excited to grow in the technology sector.
Job description:
Visit martial arts academies across Houston and nearby areas to pitch our software in-person.
Identify potential clients, do cold visits, follow up via calls, texts, and emails
Give product demos, explain key features like class tracking and billing
Keep track of leads, follow-ups, and update basic CRM tools
Close deals and earn commissions
Collect feedback and share it with the team to improve the product
Collaborate with the marketing and support team as needed
The Right Person For This Role Has
2+ years of sales or outreach experience (SaaS experience a bonus)
Great communicator, friendly and persistent
Comfortable being on the move and visiting clients in person
Passion or interest in martial arts is a plus
Basic familiarity with sales tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, or Excel)
Goal-oriented mindset - someone who likes to meet targets and earn commissions
Reliable, self-driven, and good with follow-through
Bonus if you have:
Experience of selling to small business owners
Worked with small software tools, CRMs, or lead tracking systems
