We are looking for a motivated
Sales Associate (Part-Time) who is eager to grow, contribute, and be part of the CHEF'STORE family.
Main Responsibilities: - Deliver exceptional customer service while promoting our strategies of Great Food, Made Easy.
- Exemplify our Cultural Beliefs: Deliver Excellence, Stop Waste, WIN Together, Speak Up, and You Matter.
- Fill various roles including Cashier, Stocker, and Customer Courtesy.
- Work across different departments based on business needs, including Meat/Frozen, Produce/Dairy, and Dry Goods.
Key Duties Include: Front End Responsibilities: - Ensure customers enjoy a top-notch CHEF'STORE experience.
- Operate the POS system accurately, processing transactions, and addressing any discrepancies.
- Conduct cart checks to verify purchased items and maintain store opening/closing functions.
Sales Floor and Stocking Duties: - Focus on increasing sales while managing inventory effectively.
- Assist with inventory shipments and maintain shelves in an orderly fashion.
- Ensure items are well labeled and easily accessible for customers.
- Help with price changes and support inventory processes as needed.
Customer Courtesy Tasks: - Ensure a safe and clean shopping environment.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the store including the sales floor and restrooms.
- Assist with cart collection and store upkeep.
Working Environment: - Retail store, open to the public, which may include exposure to outside weather.
- Moderate noise level with temperature variations in different store sections.
Qualifications: - 6-12 months of retail cashier and/or stocking experience required.
- One year of customer service experience preferred.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills and cash handling experience are a plus.
- Must demonstrate a commitment to exceptional customer service and teamwork.
