Summary of Overall Job:

The Sales Associate is an energetic and detail-oriented professional who is an integral part of our fast-paced sales team. This role is vital in providing exceptional sales support and coordinating account activities for a diverse range of clients. Acting as a trusted partner to the sales team, this position focuses on delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring a seamless client experience, all while upholding our company's mission, vision and values.

Sales Support:
  • Manage mid-to-final stages of the sales cycle, including requesting contracts, sending links to clients, and resolving internal inquiries (e.g., redlines).
  • Assist with subscription product renewals for existing clients.
  • Leverage Salesforce and other tools to identify potential product matches and collaborate with sales representatives to present these opportunities to clients.
  • Use resources such as LinkedIn, Navigator, ZoomInfo, DataOS, and industry blogs to gather relevant client insights to support sales efforts.
  • Coordinate with Sales Operations to adapt data for specific teams and provide actionable insights for outreach campaigns.
    • Examples include: client win-back efforts, retention initiatives, state contract updates, event-related outreach, and follow-ups.
Account Coordination:
  • Manage post-sales client inquiries, including setting expectations with delivery teams.
  • Oversee delivery and sales handoff processes, such as following up on client requests for logos or registrations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for customized proposals, presentations, and ROI documentation for specific accounts.
  • Monitor client activities and initiatives (e.g., via LinkedIn) to identify new business opportunities.
  • Attend webinars, kickoff calls, and other client meetings as assigned, providing actionable insights to account owners.
Event Support:
  • Represent the sales organization by traveling to 8-12 events annually, engaging with clients and supporting sales activities.
Technology & Tools:
  • Utilize AI tools like ChatGPT to summarize client communications, white papers, and websites for actionable insights.
  • Ensure proficiency in platforms like MS Office, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and other business development tools.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Customer Service: Strong internal and external customer service skills.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Project Management: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Detail Orientation: Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Team Collaboration: Effective in team settings and self-motivated when working independently.
  • Technology Proficiency:
    • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
    • Familiarity with Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and other sales/data tools, or the ability to quickly learn and adopt new systems.
    • Preferred: Familiarity with advanced tools such as LinkedIn Navigator, DataOS, and similar platforms.
  • Experience: Sales operations, account coordination or business development roles is a plus.
